The curriculum at Bizdom U is broken down in five phases. It is designed to be demanding and rigorous, while at the same time being entertaining and engaging. Our goal is to teach future entrepreneurs what they really need to know to run successful business enterprises. Our instructors will be entrepreneurs with “real-world” experience. Our program will combine street smarts with academic smarts to develop an elite squad of successful entrepreneurs.

Phase 1: Isms & Ideas

Culture is defined as the behaviors and beliefs of a group of people. Developing the right culture is imperative to business success and should be the foundation of any successful organization. This phase will give entrepreneurs experience and practice in both recognizing and implementing a successful culture. Here we introduce the Ism's which are the guiding principles of successful companies. Through group and individual projects, our entrepreneurs get an opportunity to apply these principles. They learn to raise their level of awareness and look at themselves and business in a new and different way.

Phase 2: Idea Development

Once our entrepreneurs have established a solid foundation based on the principles of success, innovation and creativity, they are ready to apply what they've learned to generate and develop business ideas. In this phase, we primarily focus on taking an idea, fleshing it out to determine the feasibility of the idea as a business. This is an interactive process whereby entrepreneurs spend a majority of their time in training presenting their research to the group and applying feedback to make it better. By the completion of this phase, our entrepreneurs will have the basic outline of a business they want to pursue as their Bizdom business.

Phase 3: Product, Pricing & Profits

In phase 3, armed with a feasible business concept, entrepreneurs will break their business down into the fundamental numbers. They will learn how to create assumptions and projections for the financial portion of the business plan, and analyze financial statements to make key business decisions. During this phase, they will determine their sales strategy and marketing plan. In particular, Sales will focus on creating loyalty based strategies, designed to create a long-term relationship with the client. Marketing will be examined from the viewpoint of maximizing returns on marketing dollars.

Phase 4: Running a Business

At this point, the focus of Phase 4 shifts from business creation to business management. Entrepreneurs will learn how to recruit and instill a successful culture in their team. We focus on “Doing the Right Thing” in establishing relationships with vendors and business partners. They will practice the fundamentals of real estate, contracts, and business law and taxation

Phase 5: The Launch

In our final phase of the program, we go from the training room to the board room. Entrepreneurs will finalize their business plans and proposals in preparation to request funding. Nothing clarifies like clarity; Entrepreneurs will focus on telling the story of their business in a way that is straightforward, direct and to the point. Upon successful completion of this phase, our entrepreneurs will see the successful launch of their business.
